Just to confirm Margot’s Style Jumping & Riding Test lecture demo at Askham Bryan College. Wednesday 19th June 2013 6:30pm start. Free to all area 4 riding club members. Guests welcome at a cost of £5 payable on the door. Tea and coffee available on the night, free with a ‘thank you’ box on the table! BRC Riding Tests DEMO 2013

Dressage to Music Lecture demo by Claire Marie Senior at Manor Grange Stud, Knottingley. 29Th May 2013. A flyer will be sent to all clubs with full details. This will be free to all area BRC members and guests will be welcome at a cost of £5. It would help if clubs could give me an idea of numbers.

AREA4 HORSE CAMP AT BISHOP BURTON

AUGUST 16-17-18TH 2013 THIS IS AN ADULTS ONLY CAMP!!
For adult members only – a summer horse camp for “grown ups” where you can enjoy 2 1/2 days of bonding and training with your horse at the fantastic Bishop Burton nr Beverly, East Yorkshire.
This is aimed at all level of riders from those who just want to have a bit of fun, those wanting to get a young horse going to those regularly competing. XC Jumps range from 1 ft logs to technical BE Intermediate level fences and the SJ facilities include grids and courses with a variety of fillers, brushes and water trays. This is an opportunity to meet other club members from the area and enjoy the benefits of RC membership as the camp is priced significantly lower than commercial alternatives.
Price £190 (£50 deposit to reserve your place) which includes:
2 lessons a day on Saturday & Sunday & dressage may well spill over into Friday afternoon (due to demand). All trainers are accredited. You will get your stable, bedding (3 bales of shavings) and haylage for your horse. Breakfast, light lunch & a hot homemade evening meal in the colleges restaurant, with licensed bar! Access to all the camping facilities ie: showers, bar & café. The very popular spillers rep will be along again with her weigh bridge and dietary advise. Unlimited use of the farm ride. Non riders may attend at a fee of £25 to cover catering costs for the 2 1/2 days.
Accommodation: Horse boxes will be parked adjacent to the main arena & tents in the grass paddock next to them. There are ‘hook-ups’ available which must be pre booked @ £30 payable on arrival. (to Mags- Envelope with name on please).
The plan is to arrive after midday (we are not allowed on site until 12 noon) on the Friday 16th, where you can enjoy an optional farm ride followed by 2 days of training on Saturday & Sunday. Some members may have their dressage lesson on the Friday afternoon. The groups (4-6 jumping, 1-2 dressage) with riders of a similar level/ ability/experience.
Trainers booked for camp so far are Tori Peter, Garry Parsonage, Sue Ringrose, who will cater for all levels. Waiting to hear from other trainers once no’s are in.

BRC AREA4 JUNIOR CAMP
at
Bishop Burton College
Sunday 18th to Monday 19th August 2013 (after the adult camp!!)
Jnr members (18yrs & under) are invited to a mini camp at Bishop Burton College. Junior members must be accompanied by an adult who will be responsible for them when they are ‘not riding’!
