Does anyone need Rosettes for the Jorvik qualifiers that your club might be holding.

If so please contact Grizel ASAP on gsackham01@yahoo.co.uk as she is extremely busy and it takes time to organise and send them out so that you get them in time.

The final will be at REC at the July show and as in previous years it will be in a 20 x 60 arena and will have 2 judges.

Just to confirm Margot’s Style Jumping & Riding Test lecture demo at Askham Bryan College. Wednesday 19th June 2013 6:30pm start. Free to all area 4 riding club members. Guests welcome at a cost of £5 payable on the door. Tea and coffee available on the night, free with a ‘thank you’ box on the table!
It would help if clubs could give me an idea of numbers.

Dressage to Music Lecture demo by Claire Marie Senior at Manor Grange Stud, Knottingley. 29Th May 2013. A flyer will be sent to all clubs with full details. This will be free to all area BRC members and guests will be welcome at a cost of £5. It would help if clubs could give me an idea of numbers.
Refreshments will be on sale at the DTM evening.

Here are the results from the showcross Copy of AREA 4 SHOWX RESULTS 2013

Morning all,

Epworths XC course will be open to walk at 4pm and will be closed at 8pm on Saturday afternoon. The SJ course will be open for walking Sun morning and then at the subsequent breaks 1112hrs, 1304hrs and 1548hrs for very short periods of time.

The dressing fences for the PAIRS are 9 and 17.

It is imperative that the FJ’s are at the briefing point by 0840 hrs or 1230 hrs which is in the indoor school.

Attached is a list of the fences that your clubs are judging. If you could put their 1st name in the table and send it back to me ASAP together with the contact nos of the chef d’equippe that would be great.

Attached are the times for the showcross. showcrosstimes2013

If changes are received by Tues the 16th April they will appear correct on the scoresheet any changes afterwards will be correct on the result sheets that go out via email to the clubs and Mary.

Riders with 2 horses have enough time between their rounds to get themselves sorted and be at the SJ on their 2nd horse it will only be a problem for those names that I do not know (HCTG being the chief culprits) the times can not be altered now.

Scarboro, WYHP and Holme Valley are the clubs running the show.

Can the rest of you start looking for your FJ’s as we require the following number:-
Ackworth = 2 pairs i.e. 4 people all day
Darrowby = 1 pair for PM only i.e. 2 people PM
East Yorks = 1 pair for PM only i.e. 2 people PM
Ebor Vale = 1 pair i.e. 2 people all day
Malton = 1 pair i.e. 2 people all day
Northallerton = 1 pair all day and 1 pair AM i.e. 4 people but 2 of them will be there for AM only
North Ryedale = 1 pair all day and 1 pair AM i.e. 4 people but 2 of them will be there for AM only.
Selby = 2 pairs i.e. 4 people all day
I will be doing a site visit in the final week after which I will let you know if you can reduce your number of FJ’s.
The AM briefing is at 0840hrs and the PM briefing will be at 1230hrs please make sure that they realise how important it is that they are at the briefing on time and that without them we can not run.

Fantastic news from Hartpury….

Yorkshire are National Champions yet again !!!!!!

• East Yorks are the Winter Novice Dressage Champions,
• North Ryedale are the Winter Show Jumping Champions

and North Ryedale juniors were runners up in the SJ.

Well done to all members that went and had a go. It certainly makes the long journey there and back a little shorter when trophies and rosettes are coming back home.
